Welcome to Ranger Jane's Beach School
I've lived in north Northumberland since 2010, Fully trained by the National Trust as a Community ranger.
A major part of my job included hosting family events at Seahouses, Low Newton by the sea, Lindisfarne Castle and Druridge Bay.
The pandemic has affected everyone to some degree or another, for me it brought about the end of an era with redundancy from the National Trust, instead of seeing this as a negative situation i decided to use my particular skill set to move forward and do more of what i love, I'm now an independent beach school practitioner offering a range of activities in the local area.

Guided seashore safaris
1.5 hours exclusively for your family or group.

School trips and large group seashore safaris and beach activities
1.5 to 4 hours bespoke seashore activities exclusively for your school trip or group. Activities range from the ever popular seashore safari to whale trails and scavanger hunts or kite flying all catered for with that extra Ranger Jane twist.

Discover snorkelling with Scuba Steve
Allow upto 3 hours for this introduction to snorkelling experience with Steve, a seasoned profesional diving instuctor with over 20 years of experience.
Your experience will start with an introduction to the equipment that you will use for snorkelling as well as a briefing on safety, divers hand signals, skills and the marine life that we might see during our adventure.
Once you are kitted up in warm wetsuits, masks, snorkels and fins we will head into the water for an hour of exploration during which we will look for marine life and practice the skills we have learned.
A DryRobe and a hot drink will be waiting at the end of the experience for a well deserved warm up.

We will be offering wetsuit and snorkeling equipment hire at north beach, seahouses this summer as well as our discover snorkeling experience.
Pre booking online via the WhatsApp link is essential on a first come first served basis.
Our hire price is £20pp for wetsuit, fins, mask and snorkel. For a 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm session.
£30 for the full day 9am to 4pm.
